Kojoseifun is a rice flour manufacturer that started from a confectionery store.
The company is founded in 1947. We have been mainly handling raw materials for Japanese confectionery, such as “karukan” rice flour, which is a raw material for local confectionery in Kagoshima Japan, and other processed yam products.
Our strength is to propose solutions for the confectionery business that can provide both hard (rice flour making) and soft (confectionery technology recipes and manufacturing technology).
KOMEKO, a new gluten-free rice flour born in 2010 based on our company’s history and experiences, is the world's first rice flour that can be used to make rice flour bread additive -free and without any special manufacturing method.
In 2018, we established a corporation in Germany and expanded sales channels in Europe, mainly in Germany.
